By public transportation

You can take the subway, bus or Roslagsbanan to the museum.

Subway

Red Line 14 to Universitetet Station. Exit the subway, turn left past the bus stops, and continue along the footpath leading to the museum.

Bus

Line 50 or 540 to Naturhistoriska riksmuseet.

Roslagsbanan

From Östra Station to Universitetet Station. Go up the station's stairs, then turn right. Follow the road in the direction of the subway station.

By bicycle

Bike lanes are available almost all the way from the city center. There is bike parking near the main entrance where you can secure your bike. There are 20 bike spots on each side of the main entrance stairs and a dozen more on the way to the inner courtyard and inside the courtyard.

By car and tourist bus

Follow signs to Naturhistoriska riksmuseet from Roslagsvägen. There are approximately 300 parking spaces in the area, including electric vehicle charging stations. For pricing, contact the respective parking companies.
