Responsible of Diptera (mosquitos, midges, gnats and flies) including loan issues, improving and care take of collections. Provide answers on public questions on mosquitos, midges and flies. ZOO-department representative in the Environmental management group at the museum.
Carry through a project on Barcoding (DNA-analyses) of non-biting midges (Chironomidae) of the Baltic Sea, with aims to further develop environmental monitoring the biological diversity of the Baltic Sea (project leader is Thomas Lyrholm at the museum). Financed partly by the Swedish Agency for Marine and Water Management.
Responsible of updating species information on mosquitos, midges and gnats (Nematocera), commissioned by the Swedish Species Information Centre. (The Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, Uppsala, Sweden).
Member of Committee on Endangered species of Diptera at the Swedish Species Information Centre.
