Responsibilities
Collection Manager-responsible for collection care in general. Main tasks include the organization, database registration, curation and loans of the entomological collections, mainly the Lepidoptera (butterflies & moths) and Trichoptera (caddisflies) collections. I am also involved in database development and collection care development at the museum.
Research Interests
During my masters and doctoral studies I did research on taxonomy and systematics of caddisflies, a focus that shifted to sawflies and wood wasps (Hymenoptera: Symphyta) during my postdoc in Finland. I am still involved to various degrees in projects dealing with both these groups.
