More than half of museum visitors are children and young people who come with their families or school groups. Such visits are important for developing future interest in and efforts to preserve nature and its diversity.
The museum's educators are trained in biology, geology and teaching methods. We work among other things with planning of exhibitions and the further education of schoolteachers.
We also conduct guided tours for school groups, compose exhibition texts, manage the children's club and prepare teaching materials.
Free admission to the exhibitions for pupils and their accompanying teacher.
Some of our teaching materials for the exhibitions have been translated to English.
We gladly offer suggestions to any educator who would like assistance in making the best possible use of the museum in connection with their teaching. Please contact Charlotte Ek, phone +46 (0)8 519 551 26.
