Under the Surface
The Under the Surface exhibition shows photographs of marine animals both large and small which live in habitats ranging from very cold waters to warm tropical seas. These pictures have been taken by thirteen underwater photographers, all members of Sällskapet för Undervattensfotografi (the Society of Underwater Photographers). The exhibition will be shown from 7 April to 10 January.

Angler (Lophius piscatorius). If you encounter an angler in open water, it may open its mouth wide in a threatening manner. Its teeth are fairly small and harmless – if you’re not a small fish of course. However, really large anglers can swallow a diver. Photo: Fredrik Ehrenström
