Age recommendations and age limits at Cosmonova.
At Cosmonova we have a lowest age limit as well as age recommendations. Learn about what they are and why we have them.
Our recommendations are based on test screenings which gives us a clear indication of how different age groups will react to the films and if they will find the film exciting and interesting.
Our age recommendations are not limits.
We appreciate that all children are individuals and every family and responsible adult have to determine if their younger ones will be able to watch the film without disturbing other visitors or get overwhelmed by the special experince that is Cosmonova.
The minimum age at Cosmonova is two years. The age limit is defined based on safety reasons and out of consideration of other visitors.
We know from experience that younger children might find the large dome screen, the steap stairs and darkness overwhelming or scary.
People who feel discomfort or dizziness from high level differences may be advised.
Children of 10 years of age may visit Cosmonova unaccompanied. Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult over 18 years old.
Infants and strollers:
Children under the age of two are not allowed inside the theatre. Strollers and prams may not be brought into the theatre.
The stroller parking is located next to the theatre entrance.
There's lots of exciting things to do for children of all ages in the museum.
