Sven O Kullander is Senior Curator, in charge of both Ichthyology and Herpetology collections at the Vertebrate Department of the Swedish Museum of Natural History. Area of research
His research concerns tropical freshwater fishes, particularly the systematics of the perciform family Cichlidae. Other professional activities include coordination of the Museum's coordination of FishBase, and studies of endangered freshwater fishes in Sweden. He is also team leader for the Swedish GBIF and FishBase nodes.
