Holotype ? : Juv., Lappland. No date. Coll. Mus. Paykull. No. 1009. - Measurements of type : wing : 144 mm.; tail : 63 mm.; culmen : 61 mm.; tarsus : 33 mm.
Note : If this specimen actually is from "Lappland" (Sweden, Norway or Finland) it represents the first (unpublished) record of the species for the Western Palearctic region.
