There are no guidelines from the responsible authority, the PTSexternal link, how the consent is to be done. The Natural History Museum has chosen not to create any function for active consent. Instead, we apply the principle that you turn off the browser function for storing cookies if you do not consent to the storage of cookies on your computer.

Visitor statistics

In order to get a good basis for the work of improvement and to understand how a website is used, we need to gather statistics on each visit. Via cookies from Google Analytics, we can get information on the number of visits, the duration of visits to last on average and how visitors navigate around the site.
