Department Library
The Department of Invertebrate Zoology has a library with books, reprints and a few periodicals. Most of the literature is catalogued in a database.
The library is primarily for internal use by the department and guest scientists.
Total number of titles in the file catalogue is about 85.000.
Turbellaria, Bryozoa, and Mollusca are especially well represented, thanks to donations by Tor G. Karling, Lars Silén and Hans Schlesch, respectively.
For most library activities we have access to the nearby Stockholm University Library, formerly belonging to the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences with excellent holdings until the time of the transfer (1978).
