Bayesian MCMC phylogenetics, analytical historical biogeography, systematics and evolution of the Hymenoptera, biodiversity inventorying and biodiversity informatics. Algorithms and models for Bayesian phylogenetic inference (Swedish Research Council); Large-scale phylogeny of the Hymenoptera (National Science Foundation). Speciality: Hymenoptera, particularly the Cynipoidea.
