Scientific illustrations for researchers employed in the PAL department.
Interests
I provide illustrations for various research projects and publications. A scientific illustration of fossil material is often an exact drawing that shows how the unique fossil looks, or it can be a reconstruction showing how the fossil fragments might have fit together and looked when living.
Illustrations of living species usually don't need as much reconstruction, but some interpretation of the material is often involved to make the typical characteristics of the object being illustrated easier to understand.
