Web-based Collections Management System
Summary
We participate in the development and adaption of a digital web-based collection management system that allows participating institutions, professional and amateur biologists and others to effectively manage and share information related to these collections. In addition to the core of the digital collection management, a search function includes Swedish natural history collections, loans and loan administration functions, the Swedish DNA key, an inventory protocol, and species descriptions.
