Swedish Nature

In the exhibition you can learn about various aspects of Swedish nature to show why natural environments look and function the way they do.

There is pineforest, deciduous forests, mountains, marshland, agricultural landscapes and the coast. Each with animals typical for the environment.

You can take a peek inside a bear's winter quarters, meet wolves and lynx, or investigate an anthill from the inside

A discovery trail


In this exhibition you will find a discovery trail for children in the exhibition. The map of the trail you will find in the exhibition.

Skogsmulle is a children´s programme of Friluftsfrämjandet (Swedish Association for Outdoor Life), whose educational approach is based on play and the delight of discovery.

Friluftsfrämjandet is a non-profit organization with over 100,000 members which offers guided outdoor activities.
