Publications from the Bird Ringing Centre
Publications from the Bird Ringing Centre include scientific and popular articles, an annual report and, occasionally, other books.
The annual report
The annual report Report on Swedish Bird Ringing sums up the birds ringed in a previous year and the recoveries reported during the same year. The report is based on tables over ringed and recovered birds and is aimed for bird ringers and everyone else with a special interest in the data produced by bird ringing, in Sweden and abroad. The annual report is published in English and may be purchased from the Bird Ringing Centre. No report was published in 2008 and annual reports will probably not be published in this way in the future. To order an annual report

Swedish Bird Ringing Atlas
The Swedish Bird Ringing Atlas is a joint project between the Swedish Museum of Natural History and the Swedish Ornithological Society. The atlas is based on maps, tables and figures that summarizes the movements of each species over the four seasons. It is written in Swedish with an English summary for each species and captions to tables, maps and figures in both languages.
The atlas includes three volumes, volume one covering divers to raptors, volume two presenting grouses to woodpeckers and volume three covering the passerines. Volume 1 was published in 2001, volume 2 in April 2008 and the last volume in the end of December 2008.
