Pollyanna von Knorring provides illustrations for various research projects and publications. A scientific illustration of fossil material is often an exact drawing that shows how the unique fossil looks, or it can be a reconstruction showing how the fossil fragments might have fit together and looked when living. Illustrations of living species usually don´t need as much reconstruction, but some interpretation of the material is often involved to make the typical characteristics of the object being illustrated easier to understand.Publications
